• 02/2024 - On 25/03 our student Reinaldo Velasquez, satisfactorily defended his Master's dissertation, entitled "Microwave-based Complementary Split-Ring Resonator for Detection of Variations in Aqueos Media," as a requirement to obtain the Master's degree in Electrical Engineering in the Electrical Engineering Graduate Program at UFMG.   • 02/2024 - MOST RECENT PAPER: This paper investigates the impact of graphene on tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (TERS) by developing an electromagnetic characterization of the TERS-graphene device system. This work was published in Optics Letters (OPTICA Publishing Group) and highlighted as an Editor's Choice.!!!!

  • 09/2023 - On 09/29 our student Renan Matheus, satisfactorily defended his Master's dissertation, entitled "MODELAMENTO DE GUIA DE ONDA ULTRACOMPACTO DE BAIXA PERDA BASEADO EM CRISTAL FOTÔNICO COM CONFIGURAÇÃO EM ESPIRAL E SERPENTINA," as a requirement to obtain the Master's degree in Electrical Engineering in the Electrical Engineering Graduate Program at UFMG.   • 09/2023 - During August, our students, Felipe Aragão, Renan Matheus, Reinaldo Velasquez, and Gabriel Novy, were participating in the international conferences hosted in Brazil SBFoton International Optics and Photonics Conference/International Conference on Optical MEMS and Nanophotonics (SBFoton/OMN), and the 37th Symposium on Microelectronics Technology and Devices – SBMicro 2023, co-located in Chip in Rio 2023.

  • 08/2022 - Our student Felipe Teixeira, was present on behalf of Lp2g at Latin America Optics and Photonics Conference (LAOP) 2022, through the work entitled LSPR Biosensor for Selective Detection of the Four Serotypes of Dengue Virus in Seropositive Patients. In this work, the participation of our student Felipe Freitas and former member Julia Backer is also highlighted.
